Hi, I’m Elicia!

If I’m not playing with my daughter, you’ll likely find me walking in the woods and playing with my dog. I love gardening and making art of any kind, but lately I’m obsessed with stained glass. I enjoy laughter and play and trying to find the lightheartedness of life.

I’m also a Registered Psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (#4016). In therapy, I am passionate about helping others resolve ongoing personal blocks so that they can pursue a passionate, healthy, vibrant life. As a client, you will find yourself in an empathetic and comfortable space to discuss your deepest hurts and emotions. I’ll then join you in exploring what you need to heal and release these long-standing difficulties.

I have extensive experience providing therapy for difficulties including: Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, female ADHD, Relationships, Sleep Difficulties, Stress, and Self-Esteem. I use only those techniques proven to be effective by research and strive to give my clients the best treatment possible, including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). These techniques result in shifts in emotions, thoughts, or physical reactions sooner rather than later - and whether the shifts are large or small, there should always be a sense of growth. Therapy can be intense and challenging, but we also often laugh and have fun as well.

My favourite therapy is the deepest version where we rebuild and heal on the most fundamental levels of injury. I find this results in the most resilience and gives you the ability to live the life you were meant to live. Often, my clients make gains in areas they didn’t even realize were being impacted.

We cannot skip to being healed or overly positive without honouring and understanding where we have been and why we are the way we are.

Positive perspective and healthy mindset emerges naturally out of the resilience and strength found in defeating our greatest struggles.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in your adventure towards your best life!
